My baby’s about 5 inches and 4 ounces now. Still not feeling any movement :( and as of now I just look like a gained a belly, rather then a baby. I’m looking at pictures of people at 17 weeks and some are HUGE. I can’t wait to get a noticeable baby bump!
soo pregnancy was a great excuse to quit smoking cigarettes… and even though I no longer have a physical ‘need’ for them, I still really want one. Does it ever get any easier?
Just when i thought it was gone… my ‘morning’ sickness has resurfaced.
Venting
I don’t think anyone could prepare for something like this. My baby’s sister was born two days ago. I don’t think many people go through something like this when they’re PREGNANT. So probably one of the most emotional days of my life. What’s even weirder is supporting my boyfriend, now that he’s a dad. Between me and him, we’re a mess. His whole life changed when she was born. and I have to accept not being the most important thing in his life. (I know i shouldn’t be. and am fine with that.. but it’s proven to be harder than i thought.) I’m so glad he is going to be a good dad. But it just makes me want my baby to be here NOW. That’s what he said too… that he can’t wait to meet ours. Now that he knows how it feels to be a parent.
I still can’t help but be selfish and wish it was all about me. I’m trying so hard to get over it and be mature about everything and realize that it’s a wonderful thing that she’s here. and my baby will be just as loved. Being 3 and a half months pregnant makes this all 100x harder to deal with… I’m unreasonable and emotional and i don’t know how to change that…
She’s beautiful and looks just like him. It’s just a hard adjustment to make. and no matter what, I feel like the bad guy.
